Molly, the Beach, and Fire

Genevieve was bequeathed my American Girl doll Molly.  She's over the moon in love with her.  Now she just needs to learn how to button all of those little buttons without asking for help with her 17 daily outfit changes.

We caught a break in the rain and skipped rocks from the end of the spit.  By habit I drew a chalk rock heart, something I did a lot of as a kid on this beach at land's end.

The girls were tired after yesterdays festivities and were content to stick close and watch the boats zoom in and out of the harbor.

We were welcomed home to a warm fire roaring,

and Marguerite wasted no time thawing out those long toes of hers.
