Quote of the Day

Marguerite:  When I hear another kid crying or having sadness, I feel hotness and tightness in the area where my heart-that-is-not-shaped-like-a-heart is.  Where my blood gets pumped in my chest.  And sometimes I have wetness in my eyes too.
Me:  That's called empathy, baby.  That's an important thing to be able to feel.
Marguerite:  It's strong.  The feeling.  I think it's a power.
Me:  I think so too.
