A New Favorite

Easter might be my favorite holiday since we've had kids.  This year especially.  The girls are old enough to understand egg hunting groundrules, they can play duck duck goose with a group of kids, they pet the bunny gently rather than strangle it.  We get to step back as observers and let them run in the sunshine counting up eggs in their baskets and sharing bites of chocolate eggs.  Less orchestrating fun and more having fun.  I like this evolution.

We rounded our weekend of festivities with friends and family off with a couple of hours at West Beach, Deception Pass.  Beautiful.
