After day two of carrying Genevieve around because of her walking prohibitive bee sting, I was more than ready for a break. I found my break in the dentist chair. Sad but true. It was quiet, peaceful, and nobody needed anything from me for one hour (okay fine, I glossed over the metal tools scraping at me teeth, but you get the point). By the time I made it home for dinner I had regrouped and was ready to take on more G care.
In the two short hours I was gone her foot miraculously healed - it had something to do with some magic rubber boots.
After dinner Drew and G took those magic boots for a boat ride out the slough and zipped around Samish Bay.
Marguerite and I watched from the shore, taking in the beauty of the day's final rays.
