Oxblood and Peonies

Thank you, brilliant designer of the bus/shopping cart, for making grocery shopping fun and not hellish.

I would also like to thank my sometimes dormant common sense for realizing that morning is the only time for said grocery shopping.

It's another sunny and windy day in Edison.

I aspire to look as happy as Genevieve when running.  Right now I look more like the injured caribou at the back of the herd running only to avoid being eaten by a brown bear.  Okay, okay it's not that bad.  I can do it.

On another note, if you were to paint the exterior of our building, what color would you paint it?  Right now it's primer white and way overdue for a fresh coat.  I'm a fan of this oxblood red with cream trim and our black door:

I also like slate gray with white trim, or should we just stick with white?  I like white, but we want to distinguish ourselves from the multiple lovely white buildings in Edison.  Please weigh in!

Here's the garden today.  This looks like it's going to be the summer of the peony which happens to be my favorite flower (wouldn't pink peonies look amazing against Oxblood Red?!):
