Swimming: Day 1

Genevieve had her first swim lesson today.  Here she is on the way to the pool:

The novelty of the goggles wore off as soon as she was wet. 

Me:  What was your favorite part about your first swim lesson?
Genevieve:  Warming up in the shower afterwards.
Me:  I saw you jumping in and playing ring-around-the-rosy, that looked fun.
Genevieve:  Didn't you notice I was crying?  I really wasn't having fun.  I was crying because I couldn't swim and I thought they would teach me how.  Sigh.  Maybe tomorrow.
