Backwards Day

It says "Backwards Day" on Genevieve's preschool calendar for this week.  I'm not really sure what that means, but today certainly has been a precursor.

Both girls went to bed in the their clothes last night and changed into pajamas for the day:

"What?  It's just money."

And I spent the morning in the pouring rain working in my garden (it was more of a butterfly bush deforestation project that ended with a broken lopper handle) and the afternoon inside just as the sun broke through the clouds.

Some fresh air and face paint will surely help sort this day out in the end.  Happy Sunday!

Pop Quiz:  How many outfits has Genevieve worn today??

  1. When I was in school backwards day was wearing your clothes backwards. Like jean pockets in the front. Ponytail in the front. However, things may have changed. Cute pictures.
